House Washing
House Washing in Killearn & Tallahassee
A full exterior wash for siding, stucco, brick and trim using the method each surface actually calls for.

What house washing covers
House washing is the full walk-around wash of your home's exterior walls and trim. We work the surfaces homeowners see every day and the ones they rarely look at closely — shaded north-facing walls, soffit and fascia, porch ceilings, columns, shutters and exterior light fixtures.
Killearn and Northeast Tallahassee homes sit under a genuine tree canopy. That shade is one of the best things about these neighborhoods, and it is also why exterior walls here hold moisture longer than homes in open subdivisions. Organic growth follows the moisture.

- Shutters, exterior fixtures and downspouts
Method chosen for the surface, not the schedule
Not every exterior wants pressure. Painted siding, stucco, soft trim and older masonry are typically washed with low-pressure soft washing and appropriate cleaning solution so the growth is treated rather than blasted. Durable surfaces can take more mechanical cleaning.
We look at the home before deciding. If a wall has failing paint, soft caulking, a compromised seal or delicate landscaping tight against it, that changes the approach — and we would rather tell you that than force one method over the whole house.
What we're actually removing
In North Florida the buildup on exterior walls is usually a mix of algae, mildew, organic film from overhanging limbs, pollen residue, road dust and general grime. It typically appears first on the shaded, damp side of the home and along splash lines near beds and walkways.
Removing it restores the color you actually chose for your house. It also gives you a clear look at your exterior — caulking, seals, wood trim and drainage points are far easier to evaluate on a clean surface.
